Obtaining an aeronautical licence requires learning a series of theoretical knowledge that is the fundamental basis of the techniques and skills acquired during flight training. The attributes of each of the pilot's licences require legal and regulatory knowledge, which will enable safe, legal and regulated activity to be carried out in any type of operation.

The pillars and defences of safety are technology, training and regulations; air law is a fundamental tool for strengthening these last two defences.
