Welcome to a new installment of the most successful collection in America, welcome to Volume number 18 of HDIW!

In this new edition we have decided to take a different path to our way of writing and transmitting knowledge and experiences. This new volume is not a technical manual like the previous manuals, but an explanatory manual based on the experiences of a group of airline professionals who today form elite crews in international airlines around the world. They will detail their own paths to get to where they are today, expressing their experiences and recommending to each reader the most agile way to achieve their professional goals.

HDIW Introduction to Airline, is focused on understanding the path to become part of an international flight crew, starting from the initial interview in a company through the whole process of personnel selection, the theoretical courses of the aircraft to fly, the specific simulator training, the real flight training, the six-monthly training, the annual and six-monthly check-ups, the day to day work with all the operational details and many more details to know. Throughout these pages each reader will learn about the experiences lived by our team of pilots, today temporarily writers, who have dedicated their free time to create a portrait of their experiences which we will call "Success Stories" with the aim that this manual becomes an indispensable guide for every pilot who wants to achieve the dream of flying an international airline.
