With the entry into force of Royal Decree 1036/2017 of 15 December, RPAS pilots who carry out air operations in controlled airspace must have the necessary radiotelephony knowledge to establish communication with the ATS air traffic control services.the book describes the structure of air traffic services, the airspaces, the description of radio transmissions and the terminology and language relating to communications between traffic control and aircraft. The aim is for you, the drone pilot, to be able to understand and identify "what" is happening and "where" in the air traffic, as well as to be able to communicate your situation and intentions to air traffic controllers when you are carrying out an authorised flight operation and are authorised to do so.
