The high quality photographs, taken by the Air Force Cartographic and Photographic Centre (CECAF) as well as the deployables with maps or plans at a scale of 1:25,000, allow the reader to make measurements on paper similar to a plane or map.
It is a catalogue of enormous photographic and cartographic value, with 56 folding sheets printed in DIN A3 size.
On the occasion of the celebration of the Holy Year of Compostela in the 21st century, the Ministry of Defence, through its General Technical Secretariat, has published this catalogue which illustrates in full colour the most beautiful and spectacular spots along the French Way of St. James.
It is a wonderful catalogue, with great photographs taken by the Cartographic and Photographic Centre of the Spanish Air Force (CECAF). The route is divided into 35 sections, from Roncesvalles to Santiago de Compostela. It is therefore 8000 kilometres from an aerial perspective, where the best of the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles can be seen and encountered.
This catalogue has 116 pages, 56 of which are double-sided, full-colour fold-out pages that will delight the reader, as the scale of 1:25,000 allows measurements to be made on paper, similar to a plan or map.
