Basic aircraft systems

Aircraft systems have been a subject little studied in flight academies. The truth is that a pilot must know each of the systems of his aircraft before starting his first flights.

In this book, you will learn all about the basic systems of the main light aircraft. Landing gear, tyres, flight controls, fuel, electrical, control cables and controls, moving surfaces, and all the major systems that make up your aircraft's equipment.

Learning about aircraft systems should be given at the beginning of a student pilot's first hours of flight. This will give them the necessary tools to understand what is happening with the operation of each of these systems at all times. A particular skill that will maximise safety in air operations.

All of us, as human beings, need to know how our organism works, in order to identify its faults and keep us healthy. As pilots, we need to know how our aircraft's systems work, to be able to identify their shortcomings and to be able to manage emergencies efficiently and safely.
