Aeronavegabilidad y Certificacion de Aeronaves
It presents the necessary information to carry out the certification of aircraft according to the airworthiness standards contained in international codes, in a way that allows one to understand and know these concepts with a certain degree of depth, but without falling into the temptation of becoming a certification manual.
A comparative analysis of these codes and of the aircraft certification processes and their elements, as well as of the organizations dedicated to design and maintenance, is developed.
This textbook covers all the information necessary for the certification of an aircraft, airworthiness concepts and aviation safety, airworthiness competent organizations, airworthiness requirements, aircraft type certification, engines and propellers, type and production certification processes, airworthiness certificates and finally continuing airworthiness.
The contents are updated, according to the EASA Base Regulation of February 2008.
