Meteorología para Pilotos

Meteorology for Pilots was designed with the aim of simplifying and summarising the most important concepts of the subject, based on the experience of both sport pilots and airline pilots, all of them affected by the weather phenomenon.

The teaching methodology offered by HDIW in all its manuals, proposes not only to cover simple theoretical contents, but also advanced practical concepts, trying to place each reader in the position of a real pilot doing his daily work, where he can find different challenges, and among them, the huge challenge of making operational decisions based on weather reports and their careful analysis.

The final objective of this manual will be to provide each reader with the necessary tools to be able to interpret a given weather condition, its variables and its tendencies of change. We will learn to interpret the different types of clouds, the stages of a storm, the sky, visibility, the different weather reports and the most dangerous conditions, which we may have to face at some point in our aeronautical career, but which HDIW will no longer find us defenceless and without the tools to avoid them.
