Monográfico C-101 Aviojet
In 1975 and in view of the need for a new teaching jet to replace the T-6 Texan, the Air Force contracted CASA to develop and manufacture four prototypes of the C-101 Aviojet, also known as the E.25 Mirlo.
For the future Air Force pilots, the Basic School and the C-101 Aviojet are their last flight stage in the AGA. If they pass, they will be assigned, according to their qualifications, to the specialization schools: fighter/attack, transport, or helicopters.

With more than 40 years in service and thanks to its simplicity and economy of operation, it has reached old age accumulating thousands of flight hours, being always ready to teach and to proudly fly the national ensign after each Eagle Patrol display.
At the end of its operational life and awaiting the imminent arrival of its replacement, this Avion Revue Special is a tribute to the faithful mount that has trained so many excellent Air Force pilots and that has given so many good times to so many spectators in festivals, demonstrations and air commemorations.
