Night Flight Operations

The night flight rating is based purely and exclusively on a pilot's ability to adapt to flight without visibility, in visibility situations other than those normally experienced during the day. Night flight and instrument flight are very similar, as the pilot must base his flight on understanding the information from the control and navigation instruments, and be aware of the erroneous sensations that the body may generate in a confusing scenario, such as flying in total darkness, approaching a very well-lit airport in a completely dark area, flying over huge illuminated cities, or simply carrying out the operation on the ground with runway and taxiway lights.

All of these situations present a degree of confusion to those who do not have the necessary tools to understand the flying environment, an alien environment that will test all of your senses.
