The AVI-8 FLYBOY Pilot's Watch in commemoration of the RAF Centenary. All Centenary editions share the working reliability of the Japanese 21-jewel Miyota 8218 automatic movement. With the date display at the 3 o'clock position, the seconds subdial at the 5 o'clock position has been carefully designed and matches the corresponding three-dimensional roundel applied to the dial at the 10 o'clock position. The effect is to create a fluid symphony of geometric shapes that clearly diagram the dial for easy-to-understand time reading, while adding design elements that make the watch more than just a timekeeper. A genuine hand-stitched leather strap secures the case to the wrist for a sturdy and comfortable fit that balances between adding a robust and sophisticated finish to the watch.
