LIFETIME WARRANTY
The ASA HS-1A Flight Headset is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product and is provided solely for the benefit of the original purchaser of the new headset. ASA will repair or replace at its option any manufacturing defect free of charge.
This lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, loss/theft, abuse, misuse, improper application, or modifications. The warranty applies only to individual users; the warranty does not apply when the headset is used in a fleet or rental capacity.
The term “lifetime” refers to the expected useful life of the product and parts. The lifetime of a product is a function of how much use it gets and how well it is cared for, not by its age.
All warranty claims must be submitted directly to ASA and include the headset in its entirety, as well as the Lifetime Warranty and Wear and Tear Replacement Program Claim Form or the required information detailed on the form. ASA is not responsible for shipping or transportation costs from you to ASA.
This warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. ASA specifically disclaims all and any implied warranties, including, without limitation, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASA is not liable for direct, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition.
Examples of problems covered by the warranty:
- Microphone failure.
- Left or right speaker failure when switching to mono mode
- Mono/stereo switch failure
Examples of problems NOT covered by the warranty:
- Peeling of the plastic wiring insulation surrounding the headset cable
- Torn earbuds or ear seal
- Missing screws, washers, or nuts
