B-3 Authentic Sheepskin Cockpit Jacket

Long missions and cold temperatures made crew life uncomfortable until the introduction of the B-3 sheepskin. With its warmth and ability to wick away excess moisture, the B-3 jacket became an essential item for B-17 bomber crews. The addition of Cockpit USA's warm side entry pockets in 1978 adds to the practicality of this jacket.

Note that the shearling tans to "antique" as you wear it, giving "ups and downs" in color to make it look as if you have had this jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of this product. The sheepskin varies from production to production, but you will always receive the same craftsmanship and warmth from Cockpit USA.
