The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine multirole fighter designed for use in aircraft combat. The aircraft had its first flight in March 1994 and made its combat debut in 2011 at the military intervention in Libya where it performed aerial reconnaissance and ground strikes.
The Eurofighter Typhoon was designed to be extremely agile and effective for dogfighting in combat. In total, 571 Eurofighter Typhoon’s have been built.
