RAFAEL DE MADARIAGA: Retired Aviation Captain with 20,000 flight hours. He worked at Iberia and in Airline Transport. He served as Operations Advisor (Acting Director) for Aeroperú, as well as Head of School and Deputy Director of Instruction for Iberia. He holds a degree in Journalism from EPI (Escuela de Periodismo de la Iglesia) and was a member of IHCA (Instituto de Historia y Cultura Aeronáuticas) and CASHYCEA, Advisory Board of the Historical and Cultural Service of the Air Force. He has contributed to specialized publications such as Aeroplano, Revista Aeronáutica y Astronáutica, Empuje, Mach 82, and was also the technical coordinator of COPAC (Colegio de Pilotos de la Aviación Comercial). He is the author of several books, including "El Aeródromo de Navia," "El Seis Doble, Bravo y los Moscas en la Guerra de España y en la II Guerra Mundial," "Los bombarderos Rápidos Tupolev SB-2 en la Guerra de España," "El Lockheed F-104 Starfighter," "José María Carreras Dexeus, Un aviador catalán excepcional," and "Aviadores Españoles en la URSS, 1936-1948." He is a Corresponding Academician of the Academy of Military Sciences and Arts and a Corresponding Member of RIDEA, Real Instituto de Estudios Asturianos.
ADOLFO ROLDÁN: Retired Aviation Colonel and General Staff diploma holder. He is a Corresponding Academician of the Royal Spanish Academy of History and of the Aeronautical History Academies of Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, and Chile. He holds diplomas in Military Heraldry, Vexillology, Uniformity, and Operations Research from the Central University of Madrid (UCM). He has contributed to specialized publications such as Revista Aeronáutica Aeroplano, Tierra, Mar y Aire, Aviador, and Diario ABC. He is the author of the book Cuatro Vientos, Cuna de la Aviación Militar Española and co-author of: Enciclopedia de la Aeronáutica y Astronáutica, Centenario de la Aviación Militar Española, Cien años de la Torre de Señales de Cuatro Vientos, and the Diccionario Biográfico Español of the Academy of History. He was commissioner of the Exhibition "Cien años de la Aviación Española" in Granada and has been head of Ala 48, a unit for helicopter transport of High Personalities (Their Majesties the Kings, Government presidents, and ministers), for over 20 years. He has also been decorated with the Grand Cross of Civil Merit, Crosses of Aeronautical, Naval, and Civil Guard Merit.
