Salvador Hedilla, a passionate life
Biography of Salvador Hedilla Pineda (1882-1917), born in Arnuero (Cantabria), was one of the most notable pioneers of Spanish aviation. He was a pilot, designer and builder of aeroplanes. In 1915 he was the first aviator in Spain to use aviation for commercial advertising and political propaganda. In 1916 he made the first air link between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
