History of Air Transport in Spain 1919-1940

The Foundation has collaborated in the publication of Historia del Transporte Aéreo en España (1919-1940). From the origins to the monopoly of national air transport services, a publication framed within the set of actions and activities of the Centenary of Air Transport in Spain to be celebrated in 2019.

The first volume of this edition, sponsored by Fundación ENAIRE and produced with the collaboration of the Sociedad Aeronáutica Española and the Fundación Aérea de la Comunidad Valenciana, covers the period 1919-1940. The publication covers the evolution of air transport in our country from the first air transport line, Toulouse-Barcelona-Alicante-Málaga-Casablanca, inaugurated on 1 September 1919, until the introduction of the monopoly of air transport services in 1940.

With this monograph, the Foundation seeks to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge of air transport, as well as subjects directly related to air navigation and airports.
